I know that matcha is all the rage because of it's numerous health benefits (increases energy, high in antioxidants, boosts concentration, etc.). I just haven't been able to get on board with it though because, to be honest, I tried it, and really didn't love it. I've discovered a way that I really enjoy it though...as an iced matcha latte! It's easy to make and I can make a big batch and stick it in the fridge to drink throughout the week. Here's how I did it:
- 2 tsp matcha (I use this one.)
- 2 cups milk of choice (I use raw milk, but you could use a nut milk as well)
- 2 tsp raw honey
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 scoops collagen peptides (optional)
- 1 TB Bulletproof brain octane oil
All you have to do is throw everything in your blender, mix it up, and refrigerate. You don't have to make a matcha paste first because the blender takes care of any lumps. So easy, nourishing, and delicious!
