Remember that gut-healing, immune-boosting, inflammation-lowering iced coffee that I posted about recently? Well, I see you iced coffee, and I raise you this gut-healing, immune-boosting, inflammation-lowering frozen mocha cappuccino!
All you need to do for this frozen mocha version is to start by freezing a cup of double-strength coffee in ice cube trays. Use my iced coffee recipe with the added mushroom coffee (they have a sale going on AND you can use code healthyhomehelp for an additional 10% off) and collagen for the incredible health benefits! (I recommend making a larger batch and keeping the frozen coffee cubes on hand for when the craving strikes.) Then, follow this recipe:
Frozen Mocha Cappucino
- 1 cup double-strength coffee, frozen into cubes
- 1 cup raw milk (or coconut milk, or dairy-free milk of choice)
- 1.5 TB raw cacao powder
- 2 TB pure, organic maple syrup, grade B
- 1 tsp organic vanilla
- dash of sea salt
Add all ingredients to blender and mix well. Whipped cream and chocolate hazelnut drizzle on top are optional (but highly recommended!) 😜 This is enough for one serving. Feel free to double...or triple...or maybe quadruple...or, you get the point!
