I pretty much love all things spring, and I may have mentioned that I'm a little excited that it's officially here. I'm ready to open the windows and freshen things up, and this is an awesome spring diffuser blend for clearing the air and making it smell wonderful.
Plus, this blend is awesome to keep on repeat for anyone like my husband and one of my sons who suffer from the effects of pollen in the air. It offers incredible relief for those who have an inflammatory response to pollen and other environmental threats, and here's why (you can also substitute the rosemary for peppermint):
- Rosemary oil (or peppermint) is an expectorant, which is great at clearing your airways and soothing inflammation. It can quickly clear blocked sinuses and ease nasal congestion.
- Lavender works as a natural antihistamine and will help to reduce inflammatory reactions in your body.
- Lemon is a natural antioxidant agent that can help cleanse toxins and reduce the body’s response to allergens.
If you're diffusing in a small space, you can add a couple drops of each to your diffuser. In a larger space, I like to double it and do about 4 drops of each. You can also add the drops to a glass spray bottle to spray in the air throughout the house for a great air freshener!
